Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce that the 14th ACTO annual meeting will be held on November 6-8, 2023 at the Centennial Auditorium of Kyushu University in Fukuoka City, Japan. Kyushu University, my alma mater, is known as one of the leading Meccas of hematology and cellular therapy in Japan. Fukuoka is a city in the Japanese archipelago that has long had many connections with the Asian region, especially with East Asia, as it is located across the sea and adjacent to each other. It is also famous for its food, especially fresh fish and mountain products, which are inexpensive and delicious in Japan, but my recommendation is Hakata Ramen and Udon noodles. Hakata is another name for Fukuoka. Fukuoka is known as a warm region in Japan, and November is not so cold and comfortable. I hope that many people will attend the conference and experience the goodness of Fukuoka.
